Shane Keith Warne was born to Keith and Brigitte Warne in Upper Ferntree Gully, Victoria, Melbourne, Australia.
1981 (September)
Shane attended Hampton High School, Hampton, Melbourne.
1983 (during)
Shane Warne transferred to Mentone Grammar School after being offered a sports scholarship.

Warne competed in the Victorian Cricket Association under 16 Dowling Shield competition for the University of Melbourne Cricket Club as a bowler.

Warne became a member of St Kilda Cricket Club.

Shane played football for the St Kilda Football Club under 19 team.

Warne continued to play football for St Kilda and progressed to the reserves team. However, he didn’t progress further and decided to focus on cricket.
