To date, there have been 12 movies in the Friday the 13th movie franchise, with masked killer Jason Vorhees returning time and time again to slice and dice his way through any unlucky unfortunate who dares to get in his way.
Another movie is imminent – Friday the 13th: The Awakening – which is due for release in October 2023, as well as Crystal Lake, a prequel television series, which is expected to be released on Peacock sometime in 2024.
