Ant-Man Movies In Order Of Release

Created by Stan Lee, Larry Lieber and Jack Kirby, the character of Ant-Man made his first appearance in the comic book Tales to Astonish #27 in 1962. The pint-sized hero in these early stories was Hank Pym (Michael Douglas’s character in the movies) but reformed thief Scott Lang took the mantle of Ant-Man when he appeared in The Avengers #181 in 1979.

The character of Ant-Man has regularly featured in animated television shows, including Ultimate Spider-Man which debuted in 2012. He finally got his own movie in 2015 when he was ushered into the MCU. Two sequels followed as well as two movies with the Avengers and he is expected to return in the next Avengers movie in 2026.
