Captain Marvel is the name of several fictional superheroes set within Marvel’s comic universe. The best-known of these is Carol Danvers, the seventh person to bear the title of Captain Marvel.
Created by Roy Thomas and Gene Colan, she first appeared in Marvel Super-Heroes #13 in 1968. Her debut on the big screen was in ‘Captain Marvel’ in 2019 and she then made brief appearances in ‘Avengers: Endgame’ ‘Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,’ and two Disney+ TV series, ‘Ms. Marvel’ and ‘What If…?.’
Her next big screen appearance will be in The Marvels which is scheduled for release at the end of 2023. Here’s hoping the movie lives up to its title!
