The Godfather

Synopsis: New York crime family patriarch Vito “Don” Corleone is known as the “Godfather” of the crime family. Currently, he is in attendance at his daughter’s wedding. The marriage ceremony also includes Vito’s youngest son Michael, who is a distinguished WWII Marine. Michael shows no signs of wanting to join the family business. Vito is a strong man who treats people kindly if they respect him, but brutally if they don’t. However, Vito declines to help a cunning rival who is planning to sell drugs and requires the Don’s influence.
Afterwards, the new ways of life clash with Vito’s dwindling traditional values, which could lead Michael to do what he hates doing most: start a mob war with all the other gangster families, threatening to split the Corleone family in pieces.
