Created by James Wan and Leigh Whannell, the Insidious franchise primarily centres on the Lambert family who are haunted by demons that come from a forbidden realm known as The Further. When Dalton, the son of the family, becomes a vessel for these otherworldly beings, the parents call on the help of a group of paranormal investigators to rescue their boy.
There are currently 5 films in the franchise, one of which is a prequel that focuses on one of the psychics called upon by the Lamberts. The most recent entry in the series centres around the now-adult Dalton who is still being haunted by the demons that once held him captive. At the time of writing, there is no news of another Insidious movie but if another installment in the franchise is released, we will include it here.
