What is your favourite scary movie? If it’s one of the titles in the Scream franchise, you’re not alone, as most entries within this horror series have been enjoyed by critics and movie audiences.
The first four Scream movies were directed by the late Wes Craven, a man well-versed in scary movies after giving the world such disturbing titles as The Last House On The Left, A Nightmare On Elm Street and Shocker. With the titles in the Scream series, he cleverly satirized horror movie conventions while delivering straightforward scares, much to the delight of horror fans who enjoyed the twists and turns of the movies.
Craven passed away in 2015 but two more movies in the franchise followed after his passing. A seventh Scream movie is likely but we have no information on that one at the time of writing.
